What can poor East throw when South leads heart2? A classic stepping-stone squeeze.

Although a diamond lead certainly was not best, all was not lost. When South wins diamondJ and leads spadeJ at trick two I should have risen with spadeA and led another spade - now try making 3NT, the blocked communications to dummy make it impossible!!
