The good news is although 6diamond is not theoretically cast-iron there was no doubt about the practice! East won the club continuation, cashed clubQ throwing a heart from dummy, breathed a sigh of relief, and cashed heartAK. A spade was ruffed and when South followed with heartQ on the third round of hearts declarer was able to ruff with diamondA, draw trumps and claim. Who needs all this fourth suit forcing rubbish?
