On seeing the low card from South declarer played low from dummy too! This rather naive approach in playing North for heartKx did not have the desired effect and declarer went two off in a hopeless attempt to recover.

At another table North led a club against 6NT and West looked in good shape to pick up 990. After his unfortunate lead North decided to signal flamboyantly about his attractive spade holding and declarer swallowed the bait by attempting to end-play him. Minus 50!
