There was a short and but not so sweet sequence at one table when East had to manufacture an artificial response over his partner's 1diamond. On hearing of the extra values he closed his eyes and punted 6diamond. At another table West opened with a strong club and East eventually became declarer in 6diamond, with North having doubled a club cue-bid along the way.
