I have to say that this is an impossible task - you have to switch to spadeQ!! If you lead a heart declarer will finesse, cash heartA, play a club to the king, ruff a heart and cash clubA discarding a diamond loser. It's similar process if a club is North's choice at trick two. All that remains is for declarer to do something vaguely sensible with the trumps - and we can all see that is not too difficult. So, if you found spadeQ at trick two, when South can win and switch to a diamond, please can you play in our team next year? On the other hand, maybe we should ask West if he regularly enjoys that much luck!
