This is a disgusting slam but al least they avoided 6diamond! ! In the face of East's pre-empt you are still going to need a 3-3 trumps break - you must win and give up a heart, ruff the next heart high and draw trumps. The extra trick from the heart ruff will take you to eleven and when you cash the last trump West will be squeezed in the pointed suits - although you could always play diamonds for four tricks. Note that 6diamond has not a prayer because you will have to draw all the trumps (ace, queen, finesse the nine) to prevent West overruffing or scoring a trump trick.. And that will leave you with too many heart losers.
