Declarer led a low spade to dummy's king and North's ace. A second club forced dummy to ruff and declarer cashed spades in the hope of ditching diamondQ. No luck, for on the third round of spades North ruffed with heart2. Declarer over-ruffed, ruffed another club, led winning spade9 - ruffed with heart7 and over-ruffed. The clubs had been kind, South starting with clubKQ10 alone, and so declarer faced this end position....
