The Dutch declarer played three top of clubs, the last being ruffed and over-ruffed. After ace and another heart brought down the king there was no further problem and all that South could muster were two top trumps. East-West +550.

You might think that if South had leapt in with three rounds of early trumps the contract would have gone down. Not so. After ace and another heart brings the king down declarer can run the red suit winners and squeeze North in the black suits.
