Today's hand has been promoted. It occurred on Wednesday in our county simultaneous pairs event - the George Taylor Trophy, and although it gave me personal grief at the time, it deserves to be aired on a wider basis. It has come to our attention via Paul ("Call me de Sade") Bowyer, who has religiously compiled some great hands and highly witty commentaries over many years. For the numerous hands he extracts from my unwitting follies, I almost forgive him .. but not quite!
