It is always a great comfort to see that other writers also make gaffes in their analysis. Today's deal is from the early eighties and comes from one of those simultaneous pairs events. This particular competition had invited eminent writers of the time - all the big guns were featured - to contribute an interesting hand with an appropriate commentary. Personally, I doubt whether all the contributors had indeed written the commentary - this deal was not the only one that contained a flaw in the analysis.
