Let's say you decided to pass - eminently sensible with partner having a maximum of three spades, and at least four clubs on your left. That ends the bidding and you kick off with spadeK against 3diamond, asking for count from partner, who drops the ten. It's very difficult to read spade10 - it could be from spade10x or possibly spadeQJ10, so what do you at trick two?
