Maybe East should win at trick one - if the play follows similar lines until heartK is ducked, East crosses to hand with spadeA giving a complete count on the North-South hands. Playing with the three to two odds that North's club is a baby one, declarer leads a low club for a double finesse. East can contrive to win three club tricks to go with his four spades and South has to follow suit until trick twelve. Again, miraculously, it's ten tricks!
