I howled with laughter when I read today's submitted article when it arrived in the 7NoTrumps.com postbag. It was sent in by a friend, a strong player who is also well known for his biting wit, honed while up at Oxford and exercised regularly at my expense. I shall attempt to leave the article unblemished by my attentions, except where necessary to fit the article to the 7NT format and to avoid the identification of innocent victims. And guilty ones. In this article his victim is an unexpected one, showing that he is indeed even handed when dishing out criticism.
