North's is a potential seven trick hand even opposite two small diamonds, and personally I would have made the slight overbid of 3diamond over 1M from partner in an unopposed auction, but here North solved everyone's problems when he made a very aggressive 3spade bid. South bid 4heart and all passed.

An atypical situation, this, because having given you dummy's hand to bid you now have to defend as East! West starts with the spadeK - how will you proceed as East?
