Unless North has a big diamond fit and some kind of spade control, it is difficult to imagine any other final contract than 3NT, so it's just a question of whether to meander with 2NT or attempt to shut partner finally up with 3NT. I have no great preference, but perhaps partner might expect solid(ish) diamonds for a 3NT bid. Any comments?
