He bids 4diamond, so you try 4spade with an air of confidence. It doesn't wash with West. He doubles. What are your thoughts when dummy goes down? This contract is going to the dogs anyway, but where is spadeQ? You can see that if West has it then you would be picking up about plus 1000, but if East has spadeQxx then 3NT redoubled could make with two overtricks for, er, minus lots.
