Last night I was paired with Her Royal Chief Justice for the latest league match. After 23 boards of a very sloppy and uninspired performance things were looking very bad. In addition to the poor bridge, I had also upset the Royal hormones by looking at a very attractive blonde East from another match, causing me to make an inappropriate bid that won't be found in any of Eric Crowhurst's books.
