North says that the fact that he hadn't played a hand for a while had nothing to do with his decision to bid 4heart - it was a worry that East might come in with spades over a transfer.

Well you cannot argue with success because 4heart is certainly where you want to be. East leads spade4 and West plays ace, king and another spade to which East has followed with two and ten.

How do you continue when East shows out on the second high trump ?
