Today's hand is one that comes from a Gold Cup match three years ago and features the amazing Boris Shapiro. He first won the Gold Cup in 1946 and by the time 1965 arrived had won it again (for the tenth time). He had to wait until 1998 for number eleven - when he was 89, and just to prove it was no fluke he had also won the World Seniors pairs in 1998!
