Wednesday's match produced another good win for our team, but it wasn't as a result of what happened at our table. Our team captain has written a slick spreadsheet into which the results at the four tables are input and the analysis pops out automatically at the end. Each board is Butler IMPed and the bottom line is a good indication of how each pair have performed. Although he's bridge cruising at the moment an able deputy had the results out by e-mail ready to read at breakfast. The match was won by 50 IMPs (10-2 in victory points), but we contributed a mere +3 IMPs. Not very inspired.
