East was not a tricky player who would double on trump shortage. South (Dave Dickson) thought awhile and discarded club10. West won with the queen and played a low club, so East ruffed. He now shifted to diamondK (an error?) and South ruffed on the table. The heart2 lead implied that the hearts were probably 4/4 so he discarded clubAQ on the heartJ10 and cross ruffed for ten tricks, East under-ruffing at the end! Have you ever seen a hand where you have a 5/4 side suit fit with 100 honours and don't make a single trick in that suit?! You have four losers if you go for the club suit.
