Here's an obvious statement. Bridge is a thinking game. Stop thinking and you might as well give up. Here's another statement. Play one board at a time. When the board has finished, forget about it - at least until you score up.

If I followed my own advice last night I would have produced a much better scorecard, but I neither did very much thinking nor forgot quickly about previous boards.

Today's deal is one of those where I failed to concentrate on the job in hand, and duly scored what was deserved.
