One of the problems (or fun ) of online play is that you just do not know how good or poor your partner may be. In addition, inferences which you can assume with your regular partner may or may not be there. After all, how many people say they play ACOL and yet all seem to play it differently? So with a pick-up partner what do you open the South hand? A strong 2diamond or equivalent?, an off centre 2NT?
