Ann eyed the suspicious lead and won diamondA. At trick two she led a low heart to the king after East played low. clubAK followed, ditching both spades from dummy. A spade was ruffed and diamondQ led from dummy covered with the king, ruffed and over-ruffed. West now appeared to give declarer a little help - all of us need it sometimes - by leading a club - but it did not matter. Dummy ruffed and East's queen fell.
