There seems to be an increasing trend for partnerships to experiment with fundamental system changes, and last night I was persuaded to play a strong no-trump, five card major system in our league match. As my team-mates are always complaining that I cannot cope with my normal system, I didn't see how I could lose, so the results would have been interesting. I say would, because the match was postponed - so maybe next time.

In today's deal West was playing just such a system, but that had little to do with the result.
