Nothing too involved here - it's simply a matter of playing spades for five tricks, although a very unlikely red suit squeeze on West might be a outside possibility. At the other table, with East-West silent, the declarer biffed out the top spades and was a really happy bunny to see the jack come down. North-South + 1440.

At this table South decided that West would be short of spades because of his probable heart length and three verified clubs. He was absolutely right. In that case it would be odds-on to run spade10 immediately. Not such a happy bunny.
