Unfortunately I was not sitting in the right position for this hand, which occurred in the Pachabo Cup many years ago. To be honest, I do not have a exact record of all four hands but North's cards were as shown, as were the South distribution and key cards.

At my table North played in 6NT (??) - what a waste! What would suggest as a plausible sequence? 2club-2diamond-2spade-3club-3heart-3NT-??? North might now decide to close his eyes and bid 7heart, or even 7NT. heartJ is a huge card, but how do find out about it? I remember that one pair landed in 7spade ... Unlucky!
