Reese ruffed the third heart with spade9 and cashed spadeA. When East showed out he drew all West's trumps and cashed the club winners, West still following. Knowing that West had only one diamond, Reese led a small one from hand - he was hoping that West would contribute the king or jack, but the nine worked just as well when Reese played low from dummy. What could East do? If he played low West would be forced to concede a ruff and discard. No, he overtook with diamondJ and exited with a club. Reese ruffed high, led the preserved spade5 to dummy's spade6 and took the 100% diamond finesse for ten tricks.

Rimington's tip? Play trumps fluidly.
