At the table East bid 2spade, and it would be interesting to know what you might have chosen if you knew the full hand - more of that later. Assuming that you are happy with 2spade, South makes trial bid of 3diamond and eventually lands in the heart game. Partner leads spade3 (3rd and 5th), you play the jack and declarer wins with the ace. After three rounds of trumps, on which West throws three spades including the king, declarer leads clubQ from hand and wins the trick. South followed with clubA, a club ruffed in hand and a spade exit, West following with the ten.
