Well, at the other table East-West reached the grand slam in clubs when East's naturally intended 4diamond was construed as a cue-bid. You can guess what happened - this East's declarer play was better judged than his counterpart in the other room. East-West + 2140 and 12 IMPs! You could say our first East's blind spot did not cost anything, it just got what it deserved!
