Hand 7. To quote Joe Amsbury . if responder after bidding fourth suit subsequently supports opener then this is forcing (for one round). Thus it would appear that the jump to 4diamondwas unnecessary and space consuming, but the consumption of space is in itself not a fault provided that the message sent is explicit. Thus it is recommended that if after bidding the fourth suit you make an unnecessary jump in one of openers suits it would state that all your cards are known to be working, not the odd queen in suits that could be useless.

Here partner will have a doubleton heart at most, possibly a singleton, so we can be reasonably sure that our values are gold dust.
Marks: 4diamond 10, 3diamond 7, 4club 5. 4club would be a good alternative if known by partner to be a splinter.
