Hand 4 is interesting. The majority of the panel chose 2, but as Expert B so rightly commented, The problem hasn't happened yet!. 3 was the other commonly selected bid, but I personally prefer 2 because a) there may still be a spade fit (opposite KJ93 A95 QJ1083 10) when we can choose between 3NT & 4 b) partner might bid 2NT (10 A95 KJ1083 A953) enabling us to find a club fit after all. Having tossed those two pebbles of possible East hands into the pond of bidding style, do you agree? Maybe 3 would enable any slam to be reached more easily .e.g. an East hand of 93 AJ95 KJ1083 A4 would become huge opposite a 3 rebid from West, and a grand slam is not out of the question.
