Assume That You Doubled

Dealer: West

  4. clubA K 10 7 5
West North East South
1diamond 1heart 1spade 3heart
3spade 4heart 4spade ???
At the table South bid a pre-emptive 3heart, but I suspect that most modern day experts would bid 2club or even a fit-jump of 3club. This would enable partner to judge the hand better as he will know where your values lay. In addition, it points him towards a club lead against any diamond contract.

For the sake of argument, let's say you bid 3heart. West bids 3spade, partner 4heart and East 4spade.

Now what?
