It doesn't sound as though partner is very keen on your spades, does it? Your intermediates are too poor to insist on spades as a trump suit, so you might as well support hearts, and with clubK pulling full weight in partner's second suit you can take a justifiable shot at game.

If I ask you to swap seats (South is called away to take an urgent phone call), How do play 4heart after the diamondK lead? East wins trick two with diamondA and returns a small heart.
