North led a heart and there were no problems in the play. OK, so 7spade is virtually as good and it scores more, but I hope that you agree that it's not quite such a good story.

In the other room, East wheeled out Blackwood a round earlier and jumped to 6NT when her partner showed one ace. That contract also presented no problems.
