* Minor two suiter

At one of the other tables when East opened 2NT to show a / two suiter and West leapt to 7club. North led a trump so declarer won and cashed another before running the spades. North declined to ruff spadeJ - had he done so then declarer could ruff out the diamondA - so North threw his heart . Declarer cashed clubJ, ruffed spade4 and drew the last trump. While this was happening South was squeezed in the red suits. East-West +2140.

At another 7club table South led diamondA having made a Michaels cue-bid. Declarer ruffed, cashed clubA, heartA, and started the spades. North threw a diamond on spadeJ so the heartK was thrown from dummy and a heart was ruffed. After cashing the diamonds declarer crossed to clubJ and caught North in a trump coup. Same score.
