Yes, of course you do. You might not be able to outgun the oppo but it would be nice to have a diamond lead from partner if you have to defend. Anyway, that's all hypothetical because partner splinters with 3heart to show a singleton and a diamond fit. After a few cue bids you now have to make a choice over partner's 4spade....
