It depends what you read into East's discards of three low clubs. It looks as though he could have started with five or even six, but as he has not doubled 2club maybe East's holding is more likely to be clubQxxxx(x) rather than clubAxxxx(x). So oyu play the king?

Unlucky! The net result would then be the same as nearly 60 years ago, but at least modern bidders would have the satisfaction of knowing their final contract was correct.
