many years ago when I became "slightly miffed". I was about to sew up the trump suit and played small towards A10x in dummy when LHO played the last outstanding trump, the jack. I dismissively called "Spade", meaning play the ace, when the oppo AND dummy (thankyou, partner) started to tell me that they had the right to make me play low. Now I don't know, and certainly don't care, what the rule is in this situation, but even though I could claim after trick four I was so furious that I made everyone play out the nine remaining tricks. It took a long time.In today's deal, declarer also called "Spade". There was even more at stake, but the oppo didn't get snotty!
