Today's hand comes from a Thursday evening game at my local club. It's a very pleasant club and nobody gets too upset about the occasional ethical misdemeanour or technical hitch. On one very memorable occasion the director was called when there had been a misboarding error. I, sitting West, had 14 cards and North had only 12. The director disappeared for absolutely ages, consulting several pairs who had previously played the board. Eventually he returned, smiling "We've sorted it out now" he proclaimed. As West, I recounted my cards again - I had 15 and North had only 11!!
