He drew trumps! After leading a club towards dummy, and seeing East's club2, Chagas went into the tank. Realising that he truly cocked up a relatively trivial hand, he finally played the clubA to which East, Brunzell of Sweden, followed with ... the king!!!!

Brunzell had primed himself to play the clubK whether the ten or the queen was finessed, but he was still on auto-pilot after declarer's call for the ace. Twelve tricks gave Chagas and Branco 64 match points of 70. One down would have meant nine. Chagas and Branco went on to win the World Title. Robson is right. QED.
