Recommended line 1 was this: Win the opening lead in hand and play clubA, ruff a club. A trump follows back to dummy (E-W trumps are 1-1), heartK is cashed throwing a spade and the last club is ruffed. The spadeA is cashed, dummy is entered with a trump and a spade led from dummy with the intention of playing the queen from hand if East plays low. The theory is that West will be end-played if he started with spadeKx and have to concede a ruff and discard, while if the finesse was right originally there would still be only one trick to lose.

In fact West did start with spadeKx, the slam was made and everyone said what a classic piece of declarer play.
