This is a typical nine card ending for C, and is related to B except that here West has unblocked. North cashes diamond8 and throws heartQ from hand!!! The clubAK are cashed and the South hand is entered with spadeJ, who plays heartA2 throwing two clubs from dummy. If East ruffs it costs him his trumps trick, so West is left on play. North throws the last club on the enforced heart, and East is squeezed in three suits - one of which is trumps.

This ending is so unusual that I have also shown the three card ending on the next page .......
