Undeterred, you win and duck a heart to retain control in case trumps are 4-2 - which is quite likely. You win the diamond continuation, draw trumps in two rounds because they were originally 3-3 (hooray!), and confidently play on clubs. West shows out on the second round (boo!). Now what?
