Yesterday we saw Tony Forrester's nomination for the WBE award - the Worst Bid Ever. The great man has no doubt seen many candidates for this truly "desirable" title, but it is probably one for which he himself is unlikely ever to be nominated. Perish the thought.
Anyway, back to the WBE awards. Today's deal occurred in an all Midlands inter-county match at Nottingham in the 1970s. It will never be forgotten. Next Page
